About Me

I am a License Social Worker from CentralPennsylvania. I recently completed a Masters of Social Work (MSW) clinical programthrough Temple University. I work with at-risk adjudicated delinquent youth andtheir families to strengthen and restore the family unit. The families withwhom I work face constant institutional discrimination and I have been fightingrelentlessly to minimize the impact. I have dedicated the past 6 years of mycareer to this and will continue to do so.

About Me

I am a Africana Woman as is my family. I am grateful to Professor Clenora Hudson-Weems for this organization. My professional experience extends to being a journalist. I was one of the Senior Producer's of the Emmy-Award winning first audience participating talk/news show DONAHUE for almost 2 decades. I then began launching television shows for Fox Television in Los Angeles, California and a magazine format show for Trinity Church on Wall street. I launch my own media consulting firm 20 years ago, coaching media presentation and counsulting individuals on television development projects. I am currently a Partner with an Independent record label, BSE Recordings. I am overseeing the business development of the company and media director assuring exposure for our first artist of oiur label, ARIKA KANE. I am a freelance writer and often am invited to speak on the issues concerning African Americans and the media. I formed a mentorship program, YES WE CAN PROJECT.TV 20 years ago teaching our youth how to become critical thinkers of the media and information being fed to them via the media.
